I purchased $500.00 worth of toys for my daughter at Christmas. Two items ended up being duplicates and one large item was broken. I brought the three items back to Toys R| Us the day after Christmas ( we misplaced the receipt ). They would not give credit for the two new items or replace the broken item without a receipt and they were very rude about it. I located the receipt, returned the three items and repurchased the larger item at Walmart and do not have to worry about terrible service or return policies. |

I purchased $500.00 worth of toys for Christmas. On 12/26 I needed to return 3 items, 2 duplicate toys and 1 rather large item that was broken. I waited in the return line for approximately 10 minutes and much to my dismay, you cannot return anything without a receipt ( I misplaced my receipt ). I expected a credit for the 2 new items and a replacement for the damaged item . The manager was rude and I was sent packing. Luckily I found my receipt, returned all 3 items and re-purchased the larger item at Walmart ( GREAT return policies - full refunds with NO receipts ) Stay away from Toys R| Us !! |
